Supernatural series as a new didactic resource in teaching and learning in geography classes
Abstract
The objective of this work is to show how the supernatural series can be used as a didactic resource for the teaching-learning of high school geography students. The students' lack of interest in Geography class makes teachers rethink their teaching methods, therefore, the use of new didactic resources, new methods and methodologies are necessary to attract students' attention in Geography classes, thus, the use of the Supernatural series contributes significantly in the classes to achieve the objectives of the classes and to reach the interest and learning of the students. The supernatural series is watched by young audiences, with more than 315 episodes and 15 seasons, the series addresses various content that can be used in geography classes. Having as objectives, through the supernatural series, to identify the geography present in it, in addition to specifying the importance of new didactic resources in the classroom and to know the main didactic contents addressed in the supernatural series.
