Abstract

Anti-racist education represents an ethical, social, and pedagogical commitment essential to building a more just, democratic, and inclusive society. In the context of Early Childhood Education, this approach plays a fundamental role in the development of positive identities, the recognition of cultural diversity, and the confrontation of racial inequalities from the earliest years of schooling. This study aimed to analyze pedagogical practices related to ethnic-racial relations in Early Childhood Education and to propose a continuing education course for teachers as an educational product. The research adopted a qualitative, exploratory approach, with data collected through questionnaires and conversation circles with teachers from the municipal school system.  The results revealed that practices related to the theme are still occasional and generally associated with commemorative dates, indicating the need for specific and continuous teacher training. As an outcome of the research, a teacher training course focused on the implementation of anti-racist pedagogical practices in Early Childhood Education was developed.
